A blog you can drink

I was shopping with the wife at Smart Market in Pandan yesterday. We came across a drink stall that sells blogs. They have coffee blog, smoothie blog, fresh fruit blog and even an oreo blog.

Out of curiosity, I bought a bandung blog. It turned out to be just a simple ice-blended sirap bandung. The poster pic showed the drink topped with some fruits but the drink that I purchased did not contain any. And the RM1.80 price applied to the tea drinks, not the blog. I was fooled.

Why would a drink vendor want to call their products `blog' anyway? Dah tak ada nama lain ke?

Now, you can write a blog and drink one too, literally.

Oldstock, the vendor caught your attention and got you to buy it, kan? So, for him, it serves his purpose. My two sens.

Oldstock,
It is a sale gimmick and obviously it works. At least on bloggers like you hehehehe. I would have tried it myself too.

Like D, I'm thirsty for more info.
Mister, more 'blogs' please :)

-> Miezarra, I'm still keeping my sanity after drinking it... heheheh.

-> Kak Teh, betul tu. I would not have bought it if they had called the drink something else.

-> D, yeah I didn't ask. I should have, but I guess the girl selling it wouldn't have known that `blog' originally meant soemthing else. So how are you doing... lama tak baca update dari you.

-> Snake, you're right. Somebody was creative enough to tumpang the name of blog. Blogging must be a well-known pastime nowadays :-)

-> Pak Zawi, yeah it works, I guess, heheheh. And I just found out yesterday there is another stall like that at another shopping mall. It seems that they have a franchise for it. If this catches on, we can soon call ourselves blog writers and blog drinkers too!

-> Hi there Chahya! Long time no see. Hope you are doing ok. I wonder if such drink stalls are already operational in the Klang Valley area?

Nurie,

Yes, I got some ideas after drinking the bandung blog. My next post is a story about a song in Sheffield. You should read it and let me know what you think... heheheh.

salam bro,
nampaknya kali nie engineer plak yg 'trkena' ngan salesman ek ehehee, jgn mare bro... tu la kelebihan salesman, byk gimmick n leh menarik perhatian pembeli..

and alleycats? all time peberet, never tired of listening to their songs..n david nya tagline.."mekasih!!!" ehehhe... n most their songs composed by m.nasir, sebab tu la mendayu2 n feeling abis :))

bro, awat kurus bebenor masa tu ek? n sape yg pakai bow tu, msh kontek lgk ke skrg?

Salam Hanitha,

I bukan tertipu dek salesman tapi terpengaruh dgn poster yg menarik tu :-).

Dulu I memang kurus... sekarang ni pun bukan gemok sangat.

Of my friends in the pic, four of us are in close contact till today. In fact, kalau I ke KL, selalu gak mengeteh dgn diaorang.
