Well... readers need not answer this question. Of course it is bad.... but sometimes you cross paths with some senseless jerks who really test your patience.
Two days back, I was on my way to work. I stopped at a four-way traffic junction. Another car was in front of me. When the lights turned green, the car in front moved off and I started to follow. Suddenly, a motorcycle from the road on my right darted between the two cars, barely squeezing past. I had to brake hard to avoid smashing into the bike. What the eff!!!
On impulse, I stepped on my accelerator and chased the bike. A few hundred metres down the road, I caught up and pulled to his side. I wind down the car window and shouted some choice words to the motorcyclist.... I didn't care if he could hear me or not. The biker, a young man in his early 20's, just displayed a nonchalant face with a couldn't-care-less attitude. That was when the nasty thought of wishing ill on him crossed my mind.
I have lost count how many times I see irresponsible motorcyclists cut across road junctions when the light on their side is red. You don't have to take my word for it. Just stand next to any busy junction in Kuala Lumpur for 5 minutes and you'll know what I mean. Being small and nippy doesn't give motorcyclists any right to jump the lights. Why can't they have the patience to wait for the green signal, just like the rest of us?
Ok then... end of post. Just to let off some steam..

If it wrong to wish ill on that s.o.b., then I'm going to be burning in hell for the many, many, many, many times I've done it!!!
may he is on drug..who knows
Agree with you about the habits of motorcyclists who think it is fun to endanger the lives of road users, they themselves included but I tend to think they forget this.
My experience one day last week was with a car driver who was in a real hurry. I was coming out from UMMC, the light was green for me but for a while a few cars coming out of the multi-storey car park were crossing over to the left (to Federal Highway). As I was turning right at that junction I gave way to all these other cars. As I drive out of the junction a white (could be a Perodua) car came from my right, it was going very fast in spite of the red light on that side! Oh my, it only missed y car by a few inches I think. Wonder what that exemplary driver had on his or her mind, or what he/she was going after... I can only hope this person gets past without 'brushing' anyone, for the sake of other road users of course.
At that time I was too shocked to think of anything...
i certainly wouldnt hold it against you for letting off steam at the jerk. i would have done just the same..
Seriously Oldstock, I can't drive in M'sia anymore unless I've got a death wish. Sure die of heart attack or a rupture blood vessels in the brain.....sheer effing madness!!!
Pat, no sweat lah... I'm sure there's going to be more of the swearing to come, hehe...
Liyas, we'll see then if he dies first because of the drugs or being smashed by a car...
Anon@20.06,
I guess some car drivers are jerks too. What to do... that's the Malaysia we live in. But good to know that you actually did not get involved in an accident. Hope the good luck continues to stay with you.
Kak Kama, most of the time I just swear a bit and let it pass... but nowadays it seems I'm always on a short fuse. Don't know why...
Tommy, don't drive here if you can avoid it. I long for the day when Malaysia will have decent public transportation.
I've done it many times too la, Oldstock. Sometimes anger gets the better of me and I'd let my mind wonder to The Land of Ill Wishes... sometimes it makes me feel better imagining the idiot getting hit by another vehicle and flying 100 meters straight into another oncoming vehicle. Then I'd imagine himself lying remorsefully in his hospital bed limbless, and me standing there saying "padan muka!"
I cursed a lot when I drive too, sometimes orang drive slow pun kena curse jugak, heh heh heh....
Good on you. I would have run him off the road but that would have been too kind.
Nin, I got a good chuckle reading your comment.. brutal tu.. heheheh..
Noor, let me know when you are back here and driving on the roads. I'll get out of your way :-)
Aida, takyah la sampai nak run him off the road... hehe.. satu hari nanti mungkin dia akan jadi mangsa kebodohan diri dia sendiri. Mudah-mudahan dia sempat sedar.
