Nice pic. Somehow the one that I took of the moon last night was not so good. I think it was my camera settings. Did you use manual settings? What ISO and f/s, if you don't mind me asking?

Koolmokcik,

Why so sad? Adakah pungguk rindukan bulan?

Cara,

Actually I'm not totally satisfied with the pic. The image I tried to capture was a crisp round disc against the night sky, like what is seen by the naked eye. I fiddled with so many combinations and still could not get what I want. Couldn't use too low an aperture because the shutter open time has to be quite long. But if shutter open time is too long, the moon's light gets diffused and you won't get the nice sharp round shape. Anyway, since you asked, aperture was F9 and shutter time on manual at around 12 seconds. Longer time had a nice brighter colour on the plant, but suffered blurriness because of slight breeze shook it.

I guess my arsenal was not good enough. Need a lens filter and a longer telephoto. BTW this pic was cropped and resized for easier uploading.

Ayoh Wang,

I didn't know about the full moon until a friend's FB status alerted me. I stepped outside, saw the lovely view and decided to try capture on camera. I uploaded a similar pic on my FB as dedication to that friend...

Mamasita,

I join you in your tasbih, takbir, istighfar and tahmid. It is still full moon tonite and lovely to view. The night sky is calm and clear, hardly any clouds.

Beautiful! When I noticed a full moon, it always makes me smile and there's a sense of calm peacefulness....
